1. Proposal introduction
Mineable’s mission is to spread awareness, generate buzz and showcase the true potential of the ICON Project to new audiences. We have been leveraging our website (MINEABLE.com), various social media platforms including our growing YouTube channel with more than 27,000 subscribers (https://www.youtube.com/mineable) by creating high-quality content about the ICON ecosystem. We are committed to finding new ways to reach and expose ICON to new, untapped audiences such as: investors, developers as well as newly formed crypto enthusiasts by breaking outside the ICON community echo chamber. We are here to amplify ICON, and by utilizing an arsenal of proven marketing strategies we aim to elevate ICX to the next level.
2. Motivation of the proposal
Being an ICON P-Rep is more than just running a node and validating transactions. It’s about contributing value to the ICON Project and solving its weaknesses. Marketing has always been a weakness for the ICON Project. Long term investors might recall that at one-time ICON was known as the “Korean Ethereum”, and it was talked about everywhere. In the cryptocurrency world marketing is key. You can build the greatest cryptocurrency project in the world but it won’t matter if nobody knows about it. If you look at companies like Apple or Nike, these companies are successful because they are able to market themselves. This is where Mineable comes in.
3. Execution plan of the proposal
It’s an undeniable fact that ICON need’s more exposure. This is why at Mineable, we are focused on bringing just that. Mineable has spent the last two years shining a spotlight on the ICON project. With more than 200,000 views on ICON related content alone, we aim to leverage our platform to produce even more content, awareness, exposure and positive buzz for the ICON project as a whole. We also aim to nurture ICX investor confidence by creating interest, excitement, curiosity and anticipation for everything ICON. As an ICON P-Rep, we are committed to finding new ways to reach and expose ICON to a new, broader audience and aid in the adoption of ICON and ICX.
4. Expected timeline of the proposal
Our marketing platforms are already in place, the timeline for delivering the proposal is effective upon designation as P-Rep.
